FIELD: thermocompensating and shock absorbing devices, mainly axisymmetric and subjected to impacts. SUBSTANCE: locking device has housing where moving mass and locking member are located. Locking member is made in form of outer or inner taper spring locking ring which is received by circular groove provided on inner end wall of housing with its end directed towards moving mass and its taper surface inclined towards mounting surface. Inner end surface of housing is taper in section adjoining the circular groove. Locking device fitted in structure retains thermocompensation of members in the course of storage, transportation and in case of operational temperature differentials.
