FIELD: sporting and hunting ammunition. SUBSTANCE: container wad includes container 1 for shot with bottom 2 and shock absorber 3 in the form of hollow cylinder made integral with container. Obturating wad 4 with sealing skirt 5 has projection 6 from both sides. In one more version, protrusion 6 is made on external side of bottom 2 of container 1. Shock absorber 3 is integral with obturating wad 4. External surface of projection 6 is made widening towards base with an angle α of inclination depending on coefficient of static friction of materials of container and wad.
