SUBSTANCE: during transformer disconnection from supply mains, prior to its next turning-on, switch contacts are opened at definite moment from beginning of supply voltage rise across one of phases and closed during next connection of transformer at moment counted from same initial period of voltage rise, as during preceding disconnection, across same phase of supply mains. EFFECT: improved operating reliability of transformer, switching and protective equipment due to reducing electrodynamic forces and switching surges. 5 dwg
