FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device includes pipe line, preadsorption filler, fan, recuperative main provided with heat exchanger, low-temperature catalytic filter and post- absorption filter. Device is also provided with plasma chemical reactor arranged in recuperative main and connected in series with pipe line by means of heat exchanger. Low-temperature catalytic filter is mounted in recuperative main and is mechanically connected with plasma chemical reactor. Method consists in introducing the carrier into low-temperature catalytic filter, applying the catalyst on carrier and conducting the oxidation process. According to invention, aluminium oxide is used as carrier and oxides of metals of varying valency of 7th-8th groups of 4th period at concentration of active phase of 1-5 wt.-% are used as catalyst. Deleterious microadmixtures are oxidized in recuperative main by ozone at temperature of 60-70 C. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg , 1 tbl
