FIELD: plastic metal working by magnetic-field pulses. SUBSTANCE: plant includes charging apparatus connected with capacitive energy accumulator. Buffer capacitor is connected in parallel with said accumulator through controlled discharger. Load and frequency setting capacitor connected in series are connected in parallel with buffer capacitor through pairs of stationary charging electrodes of rotary discharger. The last is provided with pairs of discharging stationary electrodes and several pairs of initiating electrodes. Said initiating electrodes are arranged in such a way that all but one angles between them in plane normal relative to rotation axis of discharger are equal to (360°+α)n, where n - number of pairs of initiating electrodes, α - angle between adjacent pairs of charging and discharging stationary electrodes. Stationary electrodes are arranged in groups whose number is equal to number of pairs of initiating electrodes. Angular spacing between adjacent groups is no less than T/τ•360°,, where T - width of pulse for charging buffer capacitor, τ- rotation period of discharger. Plant also includes control unit.
