FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: chuck has housing with radially deformed end part 2 with conical outer surface, clamping bushing 3 with conical inner surface cylindrical rollers 5 interposed between the surfaces in separator 4 and inclined to the axis of the chuck, locking members, and nut 6 that couples the clamping bushing with the housing of the chuck. The locking members arranged at the end face of the chuck are made up as pressing ring with spherical surface and spring ring that underlies it. The spherical surface of the pressing ring is in a contact with the inner surface of clamping bushing 3. The opposite surface of the ring is in a contact with the outer surface of the radially deformable end portion 2 of the housing. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
