FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: head has body 1, faceplate 3, carriage 6 and intermediate disc 4. Body 1 is immovable relative to machine tool spindle head. Carriage 6 actuated by stepping motor 7 is installed to move along guides 5 of faceplate 3. End face of disc 4 is provided with cross-shaped projections which enter corresponding grooves in changeable shanks 2. Made on end face of faceplate 3 is centering pin 24 intended to enter corresponding centering hole in shank. EFFECT: improved efficiency of machine tool. 6 dwg
