FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has frame 1, longitudinal guides 2 fixed on frame 1, wood-working tools 4 secured to guides 2. Space between guides 2 may be adjusted. Guides 2 are positioned for movement in paired parallel V-shaped transverse guides 27 and 28, which are extending in horizontal plane at right angle to longitudinal axis of tree trunks. Longitudinal guides 2 are mounted within transverse guides 27 and 28 by means of pairs of rollers 30 and 31. Each roller is positioned in one V-shaped transverse guide 27 and 28. Rollers 30 and 31 of each roller pair are positioned in spaced relation in horizontal plane. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of worked material. 8 cl, 6 dwg
