Abstract RU 2094291 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding; building of hydrofoil ships at high relative speed provided with self-stabilizing hydrofoil system. SUBSTANCE: ship has aft and fore hydrofoils located across hull and made in the form of trapezium in cross section. Immersion of center flat portion of fore hydrofoil is equal to or more than one chord of profile and that of aft hydrofoil is more than 0.7 of chord. Angle of inclination of side portions of fore and aft hydrofoils is more than 26 deg. Span of fore hydrofoil is equal to 0.6-0.75 of span of aft hydrofoil; distance between hydrofoils exceeds span of aft hydrofoil by at least 2.2 times. Besides, angles of inclination of side members of hydrofoils are equal. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
