FIELD: lifting engineering. SUBSTANCE: if chains 7 that carry platform 2 is broken down the platform with a load is suspended from rope 13 which holds the platform against falling. In normal operation the load is carried only by chains 7. In so doing, rope 13 does not carry the load but, under the action of spring 15, is only pressed to unit 14.
