FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing zinc scale an aqueous suspension at weight ratio ZnO : H2O = 1:(1-3). Suspension is kept for 0.5-4 h at stirring followed by addition of phosphoric acid firstly at amount Zn : P2O5 = 0.28-2 at specific rate 60-1820 kg P2O5/m3 pulp x h and exposition at stirring for 0.5-8 h and the following addition of nitric acid at amount Zn : NO3 = 0.4-5 at specific rate 20-720 kg NO3/m3 pulp x h and exposition for 0.5-5 h at temperature of reaction mixture 50-70 C followed by separation of mechanical suspensions containing in scale zinc.
