FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for use in erection of span structures, multiple-span bridges and other reinforced concrete structures with prestressed reinforcement in the form of bundles. Butt-type device has sleeve with central hole and located at both ends of sleeve are fixing bundles of reinforcement and tapered members with central holes. Sleeve is provided with internal threaded holes at its both ends. Seated in one of it is nut with outer thread and central hole for passing tensioned reinforcement bundle, and seated in other is threaded cap with outer supporting surface protruding beyond sleeve end face and with central hole for passing reinforcement bundle to be joined. Tapered members are located in tapered holes of anchors which are freely installed between anchors and respectively between nut and threaded cap. Each tapered member is made up of at least three segments installed with longitudinal clearances between adjacent surfaces which exceed 0.01 diameter of central hole. EFFECT: high efficiency. 4 dwg
