SUBSTANCE: gear box has axially alined input and output shafts as well as intermediate shaft parallel to them that are provided with gears, devices for shifting gears, clutch for connecting the high and low stage of the reduction gear of the gear box, control mechanism having controllable slides with jaws mounted inside a fixed housing, locking device for gearing the direct gear when the low stage of the reduction gear of the gear box is geared, and locking member. The locking device for gearing the direct gear when the low stage is geared is made up as hollows on the slides of jaws for actuating device for shifting gears that connects the input shaft with the output shaft, and clutch for connecting high and low stages of the reduction gear of the box. The locking member is mounted inside the fixed housing of jaws between the slides for permitting free movement between them in the direction perpendicular to their axes. The hollow on the slide of the jaw of the device for shifting gears corresponds to its neutral position. The hollow on the slide of the jaw of the clutch for connecting high and low steps of the reduction gear of the box corresponds to the geared position of the high stage of the reduction gear of the box.
