DISCONNECTING SWITCH Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2094885 C1

FIELD: horizontally turning high-voltage disconnecting switches. SUBSTANCE: switch has frame, separate turning insulating columns built around porcelain pin-type support insulators, current-carrying blade, and contact leads, device preventing falling of mentioned porcelain insulators in case of their fracture that has thin-pin polymeric insulator, metal clamps for mechanical fixation of this insulator directly to top and bottom flanges of porcelain insulator; thin-pin polymeric insulator is placed close to mentioned column and rotates together with it through 90 deg when disconnecting switch is operated. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 3 dwg
