FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has cylindrical container with piston arranged in it. Piston moves between upper and lower positions. It can be delayed in upper position by means of sectional locking facility. It is moved to lower position by spring. When locking facility is released, and piston moves to lower position under the action of spring active powder-like or liquid substance is sucked into container in dispersed state from traditional inhaler communicating with container. Patient, child or adult, with reduced functional of lungs can inhale air with active substance dispersed in it from container through mouthpiece assembly provided with single-way valves. Auxiliary chamber may be inserted between mouthpiece assembly and container. In this case patient can inhale air with active substance dispersed in it only from this auxiliary chamber. Volume of auxiliary chamber may be adapted to child's age, a result of which, corresponding dosing may be provided. EFFECT: improved inhalation process. 18 cl, 4 dwg
