FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying air flow for forcing powdery medicinal preparation within capsule so that it flows in unusual way to capsule end in direction opposed to direction of inhalation, i. e. toward capsule air admission openings; providing aerosol generation until powdery medicinal preparation is completely forced from capsule or chamber via pipe; regulating inhalation time by capsule size and opening size proportion. Inhaler has pipe whose one end is sealed with capsule defining chamber where aerosol is generated. Capsule has openings at its ends for admitting air into it to move powdery medicinal preparation placed inside capsule toward capsule end for generating aerosol. Inhaler pipe has openings for admitting air in the direction away from capsule and for producing balanced air flow adapted for conveyance of finely suspended powdery medicinal preparation into lungs. Such method and construction increase the amount of powdery medicinal preparation dose settled in lungs to maximum extent. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing maximum usage of drug, simplified construction of inhaler and enhanced reliability in operation. 13 cl, 8 dwg
