FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, manufacture of straps in the form of annular bundles. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has wire orienting mechanism, revolution meter, toothed sectors stopping mechanism provided with bundle slot, spring-loaded working tools mounted for axial displacement and drive with control circuit providing rotation of mentioned parts of apparatus. Drive is connected with working tools through toothed wheels mounted in housing. Bundle wire orienting mechanism has three jaws and pincers, which are joined in overlapped relation. Pincers with beveled ends and arced recesses have joined levers positioned between body cheeks. First lever has sections connected by cross-piece, and shaft extending through sections. Second lever is put onto shaft positioned between sections of first lever. First lever is spring-biased to second lever by extension springs. Twisting mechanisms with toothed sections are driven for rotation by common reduction gear. Working gears made in the form of combs with two teeth are mounted on guides secured to toothed sections.
