SINGLE DOUBLE-LOOP SLING Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; fastening facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed single double- loop sling with fastened ends is made of semirigid material and is provided with paired number of larger-and smaller-size coils in pair forming a closed spiral. Sling is made from continuous thread bent with alternation of larger- and smaller-size coils. Ends of material threads can be secured by over lapping and twisting of loops around branches, loops being formed by larger-size coils turned into braid, or joined in a plait. Configuration of smaller-size coil loop before tightening follows contour of packet section. Sling can be furnished with lock made in form of S-shaped member or ellipse encompassing branches of larger size coil loop and arranged inside or in upper part of loop of smaller- size coil. Lock can be provided with corresponding marks to serve as tag. EFFECT: increased strength of sling, reduced traumatism in operation. 6 cl, 15 dwg
