FIELD: methods of underground leaching of manganese ores, mainly, oxide carbonate ores with use of sulfuric acid implemented through a system of pumping-in and pumping-out holes. SUBSTANCE: process is divided into two stages. The first stage includes leaching with solution of sulfuric acid, and the second stage covers leaching with gas-fluid mixture of sulfuric acid and air which is produced by ejection in hole. Manganese concentrate is precipitated by magnesium oxide, and mother liquor is boiled-out, and dewatered product is subjected to thermal decomposition. The process flow diagram is closed: sulfurous anhydride and magnesium oxide formed in decomposition of magnesium sulfate is returned to the process cycle. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
