FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to split flywheels and friction clutches. Proposed flywheel has first flywheel mass secured on engine of automobile and second flywheel mass rotation coaxially relative to first flywheel mass and connected through friction clutch to gearbox. Friction clutch has clutch disk adjoining second flywheel mass, cover plate connected with second flywheel mass, pressure disk located between cover plate and clutch disk and plate spring located between cover plate and pressure disk. Novelty is that outer zone of plate spring loads pressure disk to clamp clutch disk between pressure disk and second flywheel mass. Plate spring is located between first and second rotary supports arranged radially within the zone of loading of pressure disk by plate spring. First rotary support is arranged in zone of plate spring from side of cover plate, and second rotary support, in zone of plate spring from side of pressure disk. Second rotary support is partially formed by support containing leaf spring made integral with support and connected with pressure disk radially inside rotary supports. Leaf springs are designed to transmit torque. EFFECT: reduced axial dimensions of clutch unit and flywheel assembly, increased reliability and facilitated mounting of said unit. 20 cl, 2 dwg
