FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves knitting seamless parts of front, back portions and sleeves with width variable along the length of part, with knitting being effectuated by template; changing width of front and back parts along their length on portion extending from lower point of rolled portion to the line of sleeve lower portion by introducing elastomeric threads of predetermined stretchability in alternation with nonelastomeric threads. Number of loops on mentioned portions is constant along the whole length. Stretchability of elastomeric threads and alternation sequence of elastomeric and nonelastomeric threads are selected in accordance with contraction coefficient of knitted parts ranging between 0.4 to 0.95.
