FIELD: secondary metallurgy, particular, processing of metallurgical slags formed in melting of alloys based on copper or nickel to improve quality of metal concentrate by more complete opening of metal component of slag. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes supply of material onto perforated surface, its motion over perforated surface by vibration, and separate withdrawal of fractions. Material, prior to its supply onto perforated surface, is subjected to heat treatment at temperature of 23-260 C. Motion actuated by vibration is carried out with simultaneous application if impact load to area equalling 0.25-0.30 area occupied by material on perforated surface. Impact load equals 1.5-2.0 material weights on perforated surface. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
