FIELD: animal husbandry. SUBSTANCE: machine has two handles the rear ends of which are interconnected through a flexible member as well as comb and shearing knife arranged at the front ends of the handles. The shearing knife is freely mounted in the supporting socket provided in the handle from the side that faces the comb for permitting self-adjusting with respect to the comb in shearing. The stop that arrests expansion of the handles is made up as shoulders on the inner side in the intermediate portion of each handle. The shoulders point in opposite directions. The cogs of the comb are inclined to a vertical line that passes through their tops. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 6 dwg
