SUBSTANCE: knife for shearing machine is box-shaped article with back and teeth having spout, foundation and lateral surfaces with channeling strips consisting of alternating projections and hollows forming cutting edges in cutting plane. The channeling strips are distributed uniformly or with changing pitch, are made as conical surfaces and are located at changing angle from tooth spout to its foundation.
