FIELD: manufacturing hollow articles. SUBSTANCE: device has holder of moulded article, gauge mounted above it, linear heater for the heating line, and mechanism of bending. The bending device consists of moulding punch and plate inclined to moulding punch so that the free end of the plate underlies the edge of an article before bending. In bending, after heating, the article is removed from the working zone and moulding punch is moved to the side of the gauge. In so doing, the gauge lifts the plate together with the edge of the article. The plate moves upward along an arc providing preliminary bend. The process is completed by running in moulding punch that arranges the edge of the article over the top edge of the gauge. The height of the edge of the gauge defines the height of the bend of the edge of the article and may be given preliminary. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 1 dwg
