FIELD: transport engineering; protection of containers, freight rail cars, road vehicle bodies and other means. SUBSTANCE: wire rope seal-lock has housing with axial hole for wire rope which has working and passive portions. Seal has spring-loaded ball for engagement with wire rope arranged in inclined hole made in housing and communicating at one side with indicated axial hole and at other side is provided with stopper. Housing has spaces located at both sides of indicated axial hole in point where wire rope is wedged by ball. EFFECT: improved quality of protection. 4 cl, 4 dwg
