Spring-biased ball for interaction with rope is located in inclined hole which is made in body and at one side it communicates with axial hole. At other side it is provided with stopper. Axial hole has walls of different thickness which adjoin front face, rear face, end faces of body. Thickness of walls of axial hole adjoining front face and rear face is selected with taking account of yield point of material of body walls at static loading of walls equal to not more than one quarter of breaking load of rope. Aforesaid embodiment of rope-type lock and seal is reliable, simple in design, inexpensive to manufacture, and prevents adulteration and reuse of its components.
