FIELD: rock crushing machinery. SUBSTANCE: this relates to mining and road-building machines and equipment used for crushing rock, road pavements, concrete articles, separating sludge formations from buckets, etc. Mechanism has body which accommodates induction coil. Body is covered at end sides by front and rear caps. Bores in body and cap function as guide members for armature-striker. Located in front part of armature-striker are rings made of non-magnetic material. Power supply to induction coil is effected from pulse current source. Armature-striker is made up of two parts: non-magnetic current conducting part and ferromagnetic part. This allows at passing of pulse current at initial moment to obtain maximal value of Lorentz force. After armature-striker passes half of free stroke path, it moves under action of Maxwell force. With that, Lorentz and Maxwell forces coincide in direction and this permits increase of mechanism efficiency and substantially increases energy of single strike. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
