FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this is used for mining sloping, steeply inclined and pitching coal seams. According to method, mining field is divided into sublevels by driving workings, coal is extracted by drilling bore-holes of straight ahead direction from haulageways to air headings. Bore-holes are reamed in reverse movement with subsequent removal of inter-hole pillars. Operations of drilling, bore-hole reaming and inter-hole pillar removing are spread along strike and along seam thickness. Inter-hole pillars are removed by crushing them under effect of rock pressure or by means of crushing hydraulic devices suspended in bore-holes by ropes which are displaced from bottom to top and from floor to roof.
