FIELD: refrigerating engineering; cold-and-heat supply systems in food-processing, chemical, petrochemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: method consists in increase of amount of circulating working agent due to placing in operation additional refrigerating machine with thermal drive in whose loop nontoxic working agent is circulating, for example lithium bromide refrigerating machine. Working agent in loop of VAPOR compression refrigerating machine is subcooled through evaporation of working agent in loop of refrigerating machine with thermal drive after condensation before throttling and this agent is cooled during condensation. Preliminary cooling of intermediate refrigerant is effected in parallel with above-mentioned subcooling and cooling of working agent in loop of VAPOR compression refrigerating machine through evaporation of working agent in loop of refrigerating machine with thermal drive.
