GEAR FOR PROXIMATE ANALYSIS OF PULLING-COUPLING PROPERTIES OF TRACTOR MOVER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: testing equipment, examination of pulling-coupling properties of wheeled tractor movers fitted with power take-off shaft. SUBSTANCE: gear has immobile support 23, transducer 5 of longitudinal force coupled to it and to tractor 22 by mobile coupling, pulley 17 equipped with revolution counter 16 and cable 19 reeled up on to it which free end is attached to immobile support 23, reduction gear of gear transmission which input shaft is kinematically made fast by means of power take-off shaft 15 to wheels of mover and which output shaft 9 carries pulley and bogie where reduction gear 7 is mounted. With movement of tractor cable unreeled from pulley creates variable pulling resistance causing slipping of wheels. Pulling force and slipping of wheels are recorded with the aid of transducer 5 of longitudinal force and revolution counter 16. Dependence of slipping factor on pulling force is plotted by results of measurements. EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced functional reliability of gear. 5 cl, 4 dwg
