FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: probe is made as long-size cylindrical rod with sharpened end. Its external surface carries screw cylindrical spring secured at its ends in rod sharpening zone and on side of turning device. In the latter, cylindrical rod is fixed to spring-loaded plunger which can move axially relative to threaded bushing. Union bushing with internal cone and turning lug which has tapered surface manufactured similarly are arranged on body of device fixing the probe in position. To reduce effort applied by operator, auxiliary bushing is provided on plunger bore, and cylindrical pin is installed in slot at point of bushing-to-plunger coupling. Transverse recesses with inclined surfaces are made on external surface of bushing in which spring-loaded solids of revolution contacting the threaded bushing surface are mounted.
