FIELD: measurement technology, solid-state physics, determination of authentic properties of metals within limits from absolute zero to maximal temperature at which given metal keeps its elastic properties. SUBSTANCE: determination of thermal conductivity of metals at various temperatures is conducted on samples with removed plastically relaxed and elastic internal tensions. Temperature dependence of thermal conductivity Λ(T) of metal is broken into two linear sections separated by characteristics temperature.
