FIELD: measurement of physical properties of structural materials. SUBSTANCE: method for determination of metal characteristic temperature consists in that characteristic temperature characterised by microequilibrium of particles (atoms) at minimal internal energy of body, is determined by abscissa of point of intersection of temperature dependence of controlled parameter, i.e., between constancy sections and dip.
