SUBSTANCE: method involves measurement of arrival times ta, tb and tc by means of at least three receivers which are located on straight line, detection of delay time for radio signal in two receivers with respect to third one, calculation of traveling distance for radio signal to receivers using equation Δli= c•Δti,, where c is speed of light, Δti is delay time for arrival of signal to receiver. Distances from receivers to position of radio station are calculated using equation given in invention specification. EFFECT: increased precision. 3 dwg
