FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: prosthesis has optical part and diametrically opposite rest members produced as truncated disks from flexible biologically inert material. Distal portions of the rest members are concave in the middle portion, their frontal surfaces being provided with grooves positioned at right angle to the vertical axis, having 120-140 mcm in depth and 70-80 mcm in width. Proximal faces of the grooves are 50-60 mcm distant from optical part of the lens along the vertical axis. EFFECT: low risk of traumatic complications; excluded distortions of images on the retina; prevented secondary pigmentary glaucoma. 1 dwg
