FIELD: medicine, more specifically, ophthalmology; may be used in correction of aphakia after extracapsular extraction of cataract. SUBSTANCE: supporting parts are connected with optical part in artificial crystalline lens due to interpenetration of polymer lattices of their component materials. Interpenetration of polymer lattices of optical and supporting parts may be effected by partial polymerization of material of one of component parts in polymerized other part (for instance, polymerization of collagen of methyl metacrylate partially diffused in copolymer) and in addition by ultrasonic or thermal welding of separately polymerized parts. EFFECT: reduced risk of postoperative complications and excluded development of secondary glaucoma and uveitis. 1 dwg
