FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology, and can be used for development of indications for removal of presbyopic lens with intraocular lens implantation in glaucoma. Ultrasonic biomicroscopy (UBM) is performed in face up position and face down position. Elastic closed-type nozzle is used for ultrasonic sensor. To determine depth of anterior chamber, “lens - corneal endothelium” distance is measured. For determining degree of opening angle of anterior chamber distance "trabecula-iris" distance is measured. If in face up position of patient “lens - corneal endothelium” distance is equal to or greater than 3 mm, "trabecula-iris" distance is equal to or greater than 0.2 mm, and in face down position “lens - corneal endothelium” distance is less than 3 mm, and "trabecula-iris" distance is less than 0.2 mm, removal of removal of presbyopic lens with intraocular lens implantation in glaucoma is considered indicated.
EFFECT: method provides high-accuracy determination of indications for removal of presbyopic lens in glaucoma, which is caused by ultrasonic evaluation of changes of topography of structures of anterior chamber at different positions of patient's body, close to real life conditions.
