To prepare slurry, method employs, as binder, polyethylene glycol having average molecular weight 12,000-35,000. To resulting glass powder zinc stearate is added in amount 0.05-0.4% based on weight of moulding powder. Method makes it possible to produce various glass products, such as electron-tube glass tablets having high shrinkage coefficient and high mechanical strength.
