INSTALLATION COLLECTING OIL SLIME FROM WATER SURFACE AND TRANSFERRING IT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: environmental control. SUBSTANCE: installation collecting oil slime from water surface and transferring it has receiving and removing gears, flexible fence with separable cross-bars which upper edge is located above water level, aid pulling flexible fence out of water and gear for automatic disconnection of cross-bars from flexible fence while it is removed out of water. In addition installation is fitted with gear mixing and grinding oil slime positioned ahead of receiving gear, with fixture transporting oil slime to receiving gear manufactured in the form of fragment of fence and mounted for movement over water surface and two systems located on sides of receiving gear which pull disconnected cross-bars to shore. Aid pulling flexible fence out of water is fabricated in the form of two-way winch through which both ends of flexible fence are passed. Gear for automatic disconnection of cross-bars from flexible fence is composed of two fixtures. Corresponding end of flexible fence is passed through each of them by means of guides. Fixture transporting oil slime to receiving gear is equipped with gear grinding and filtering oil slime. EFFECT: improved functional efficiency and reliability of installation. 1 cl, 3 dwg
