FIELD: mining industry; may be used in underground mineral mining on outburst-prone deposits with nonuniform field of stresses. SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of support with a spaced relation to working contour and filling of gap with damping layer from material nonuniform in density. Novelty in that damping layer is made of material nonuniform in density, with density increasing from working contour towards support. Under conditions of nonuniform stressed state of rock mass in zones of minimum stresses, varying density of filled material is larger than that in zones of maximum stresses.
