INJECTOR Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: gas coolers; manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: injector has housing 1 with circular chamber 13 for supply of liquid, sprayer made in form of bush 4 and secured in housing; bush 4 is provided with nozzle 6 and swirler 5 forming before-nozzle chamber 7 between them. Swirler 5 is provided with helical passages 11 on outer surface and with tail-piece forming circular passage 10 together with inner surface of bush. Passage 10 is brought in communication with circular chamber 13 by means of holes and with before-nozzle chamber 7 by means of helical passages 11. Injector is provided with additional sprayers. Housing is provided with axial passage 8 and circular row of cylindrical seats provided with circular grooves 2 brought in communication with chamber 13. Sprayers are mounted in above-mentioned seats for communication of circular passages 10 of sprayers with circular grooves 2 by means of tangential holes made in bushes 4. Swirlers 5 of sprayers are provided with central holes 9 for return drain which are used for communication of before-nozzle chambers 7 with axial passage 8 of housing 1. Nozzles 6 of sprayers may be changeable and may be mounted in bushes 4 for axial displacement. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 4 dwg
