FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing shaped products from epoxy binder-based polymer composition includes dispersing an inorganic powder in binder and impregnating continuous fiberglass reinforcing filler with binder followed by shaping resulting prepreg by drawing it through heated die, polymer composition utilized containing, wt.-%: 4,4'-diamino-3,3'- dichlorodiphenylmethane tetragycidyl ether, 15.7-20.9; oligomer product of esterification of bis[4-(1-(α-hydroxyethyl)phenyl] ether and metacrylic acid, 0.95-1.30; isomethyltetrafydrophthalic anhydride, 13.35-17.80; glass threads, 55.82-67.49; and magnesium/ammonium phosphate, 2.51-4.18. The latter is dispersed in binder in the following way. Above-said tetraglycidyl ether is first mixed with above-said esterification product and 2/3 of total quantity of above- said anhydride. To remaining part of anhydride, magnesium/ammonium phosphate is added and the two ingredients are 3 to 5 times ground together on rolls to form homogeneous mass with magnesium/ammonium phosphate particles size 1 to 30 mcm. The two mixtures obtained are agitated for 5-10 min and then 3-4 times ground on rolls. Impregnation of reinforcing filler is performed using melt of binder, whereas formation of prepreg proceeds at temperature of dye 220-230 C and drawing velocity 0.22-0.30 m/min.
