FIELD: electrometallurgy, in particular, devices for production of aluminum under conditions of the Extreme North. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer has self-baking anode and top electric lead, welded casing with end and side covers. Face and side covers are interconnected by load-bearing unit having a pair of bimetallic studs whose longitudinal boundary of two metals is square to melt surface. Placed onto weld is axisymmetric magnetic lens to which electric circuit stud is connected through different metals. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
