FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressors; control and protection devices. SUBSTANCE: used as pressure parameter are spectral components of pressure variations taken at least in two points over circumference of compressor blading. Frequencies of spectral components are compared with frequency of rotor, and amplitude frequency characteristics of spectral components whose frequency is whole-number multiple of rotor frequency is used as first component of control signal, and phase shift between spectral components which are not multiple to rotor frequency is used as second component of control signal. Two-component control signal is compared with threshold value which is function of turbocompressor rotor frequency. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
