FIELD: lining of metallurgical reservoirs with inclined and taper sections of walls. SUBSTANCE: method consists in laying at least one row of refractory bricks of similar height along inner surface of reservoir and subsequent layer of at least two layers of refractory bricks above this layer; each brick has inclined surface adjoining the previous row at angle within 0.5-5.0 deg. Four lateral surfaces of each brick are perpendicular to its surface adjoining the previous row. Feather-edge refractory brick has two opposite lateral surfaces inclined towards each other and perpendicular to base adjoining them; opposite surface is inclined relative to base at angle of 0.5-5.0 deg.
