FIELD: sorption co-deposition for extracting radioactive ruthenium. SUBSTANCE: method involves sorption co-deposition of ruthenium-106 on ferric hydroxide (III); to this end, iron (III) concentration of at least 3 g/l is created in solution and the latter is doped with ammonium persulfate so that mass proportion of iron (III) and ammonium persulfate amounts to 1:(1.6- 2.0). Solution temperature in the course of co- deposition is 80-100 C, pH value of medium is over 4. Extraction is primarily made at pH value of about 7.
