FIELD: oncology. SUBSTANCE: proposed preparation comprises, as active principal, LACTOFERRIN which is potent endogenic antioxidant. LACTOFERRIN is administered to patient in gelatin- immobilized form, whereby its contact with affected mucosa of oral cavity and esophagus is considerably prolonged. Proposed preparation exhibits antioxidant, antiinflammatory and antimicrobial effect; it is fully biocompatible with human organism. EFFECT: 1) significant positive clinical effect, namely: local radiation and chemio-radiation reactions are cut short in 80-90% patients in 3-10 days, i.e. 10-15 days faster than during treatment with vitaminized oils and dimexide; 2) prophylactic administration of preparation reduces by 50- 60% occurrence rate of local complications in oropharyngeal zone and esophagus of oncologic patients undergoing conservative antitumoral treatment. 2 cl, 1 tbl
