FIELD: veterinary microbiology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of the strain Str. zooepidemicus VGNKI N K-DEP that is cultured on beef-extract broth with 1% glucose solution at 37-38 C for 18-24 h. To this time concentration of bacterial mass must be 4 x 109mk/1 ml, not less. The obtained cultural fluid is subjected for freezing-thawing, liquid fractions were separated and inactivated with 0.3-0.4% formalin solution. Sterile adjuvant (3% solution of aluminium hydroxide) is added to bacterial mass after inactivation. The obtained formol-aluminium hydroxide vaccine provides the formation of stable lasting immunity. Its epizootic effectiveness is up to 98.4% of all vaccinated animals. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, enhanced effectiveness of vaccine. 1 tbl
