FIELD: veterinary microbiology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: strain Streptococcus zooepidemicus VGNKI N K-DEP is cultured on beef-extract broth with 1% glucose solution at 37-38 C for 18-24 h. To this time concentration of bacterial mass must be 4 x 109mk/1 ml, not less. The grown culture is inactivated with 0.3% formalin solution. After inactivation sterile adjuvant (3% solution of aluminium hydroxide) is added to bacterial mass. The obtained formol-aluminium hydroxide vaccine provides the formation of stable lasting immunity. Epizootic effectiveness of vaccine is up to 85.4% of all infected animals. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of vaccine. 1 tbl
